Auburn - There is a KOA facility in North Auburn with tent sites and full RV hookup. In addition, cabins are also available. From Interstate‐80 take Highway 49 north 3.5 miles to Rock Creek Road . Turn right to KOA Way . Call 530‐885‐0990 for more information.

Granite Bay - There is a formal campground about 20 minutes away, the excellent Beals Point State Park on Folsom Lake, 12 miles South of Auburn on Auburn‐Folsom Rd. The campground is on the shores of Folsom Lake and offers all the amenities ‐ running water, showers, RV spaces, pets allowed, etc. Nightly fees range from $12‐16. Directions from Auburn: From Interstate‐80, exit Highway 49 and proceed South on 49 until the T intersection of Lincoln Way (only .25 miles from I‐80). Turn Right on Lincoln Way and approach the historic Auburn Courthouse. Turn left at the signal light in front of the Courthouse onto Auburn‐Folsom Rd. Proceed for ~13 miles (passing the Pacific Ave signal light that goes to Railhead Park) to Beals Point State Park entrance (signal light). Turn left into park entrance and proceed to visitors booth.
