Soda Springs:
Ice Lakes Lodge – 1111 Soda Springs Road, Soda Springs, 530-426-3871. From I-80, take the Soda Springs/Norden exit and follow the signs to Summit Station. One-half mile from the exit, turn right at the blinking yellow light onto Soda Springs Road. Ice Lakes Lodge is 2.5 miles on the right. Special room rate is available for race participants by mentioning that you are racing in the Wildest Run in the West.
Auburn:
Super 8 Motel - 140 E Hillcrest Dr (West off Foresthill Rd exit I-80 exit): 530-888-8808. From the West, take Foresthill Rd I-80 exit, turn Left over freeway (From East turn right off exit), go right at the Bowman Rd traffic light, then quick left on E Hillcrest Dr. Pool, jacuzzi, non-smoking rooms, cable, ask for fridge/micro room.
Holiday Inn - 120 Grass Valley Hwy (49&80 right at offramp). 530-887-8787. An upscale option in an enclosed building with Marie Callender's is attached for easy dining. Exit I-80 on Hwy 49, go Left (From the East turn Right off exit). Turn into In 'N Out Burger/Holiday Inn parking lot immediately adjacent to the North side of the freeway. They have all the amenities including an excellent fitness center, large outdoor swimming pool suitable for laps and jacuzzi.
Comfort Inn & Suites - 1875 Auburn Ravine Rd (West on Foresthill Rd I-80 exit): 530-885- 1800. Take the Foresthill Rd exit off I-80, Left over freeway. (From East turn right off exit) and continue straight over the freeway onto Auburn Ravine Rd. Comfort Inn is 200 meters past the freeway on the right as you descend the hill. Swimming pool, spa, non-smoking rooms, cable TV.
